Today's family often produces the situation of unwanted and waste. Global warming issues affect the growth quality of plants and animals.
How to preserve food and extend the freshness of ingredients' tasting time are more important.
CO2 Fridge is based on this concept to design. This product is aiming to reduce the utilization of traditional refrigerators and wasting food. Then, this new living style creates a new "Green Living Purpose." Product use CO2 cylinder to adjust the ratio of different gases in CO2 Fridge and extend the preservation of food for small family or solo living people.
User Interface
The user interface merges with the control panel to minimize the space and maximize convenience for users. CO2 Fridge is a new type of product and needs a whole new user interface. There are 4 situations for considering the user interface for CO2 Fridge.
Show the rest amount of CO2 in CO2 Fridge
Refuel the CO2 cylinder.
Storage for another 2 extra CO2 cylinders.
Turn on/off button for importing the gas into CO2 Fridge.
Research & Design Process
CO2 Fridge is a year-long project. There are many back and forth from research, discussing, prototyping, and testing to verify the possibility of this concept product. This prototype is one of the best solutions. I decided to use CNC to create the final prototype design.
